Come On Irene
Well I am tired of looking out the window at all of the wind and rain. So, I’ll say it, Come On Irene! Hurry up already, I need something to do. Living in Bucks county Pa is not a hotbed for hurricanes. I have spent the night ducking from tornados but not a hurricane. This is a first. Well, I guess I’ll just concentrate on cleaning my kitchen.
Let’s start with the kitchen cabinets. I need to refinish them but don’t know where to start. I painted them quite awhile back and am now so tired of the painted cabinet look. I need a new counter top and new appliances would be great. I can’t wait to find a new way to store trash. If I own one more green or cream colored rubbermaid trash can, I’ll scream. The new modern sleek automatic trash can looks like a piece of furniture, not a place to put trash into.
Don’t get me started on my cookware. How about dated, pitted and stained. I have ancient pots and pans. I’m looking for a new modern way to cook. Quality cookware that I can be proud to show off in my kitchen. I would love to have a hanging bar to store my cookware. Something shiny and brillant like stainless pots and pans. To be able to cook a suculant beef roast in a shiny new roasting pan. I wonder if anyone every ask’s themselves, what is a roasting pan? I bet all they know is that you get amazing roasts out of them.
Oh well come on Irene, it’s time to bid us goodbye and let another letter take your place.
